MISSIONS EDUCATION
We believe missions should be a priority of a believers' life. We need to learn about what God is doing in missions! We want to provide opportunities for students to observe and experience missions from different angles and have a chance to use their gifts to serve others!
We have three educational missions trips that take place throughout the program, Missions classes, as well as other aspects of missions education.

Cross-Cultural Evangelism Trip
Students will have the opportunity to experience evangelism in another culture. We spend approximately two weeks internationally shadowing a missionary family. We live their everyday life with them and learn how they serve the Lord in another country.
Community Development Trip
We will experience how believers are serving in their community and working alongside them to share the gospel.
This trip is approximately a week long and takes place within the states.

Immediate Disaster Relief Trip
This trip is centered around helping a community recover after a disaster has struck. This is a week-long trip that takes place in the States. This has included debris clean up, construction/rebuild, and spending time with the community.
Missions Opportunities
Ministry Opportunities--Compass students are encouraged to use their giftings to serve in ministries whether that be youth groups, after-school Bible clubs or nursing homes.
Service projects--part of the regular Compass week will include serving in places of need in the community.
Camp Ministry--Compass will take part in helping host retreats, helping with adventure programs and working alongside the Expeditions staff.
Missionary Speakers--There will also be a variety of missionaries that the students will hear from throughout the year.
